Chancellor candidates on campus

The final three candidates to become the next chancellor of UW-Platteville visited campus over the past two weeks and each had a different outlook for the university. Chancellor candidates Dennis Shields, Susan Koch and Michael Harris each spoke at two open forums, attended a luncheon with student leaders and toured the campus.

According to UW-Platteville Campus Police and the Platteville EMS, an ambulance has been called to campus for a “medical emergency.”Both departments declined to comment further on the incident.

Gas leak closes Ottensman Hall at UW-Platteville

UW-Platteville’s Ottensman Hall was evacuated for almost an hour this morning following a reported gas leak.
