Track and field runs through the Wartburg Outdoor Select

T.J. Valley continued his impressive 2012 season with a victory in the 110-meter hurdles. Josh Vandenbush won the triple jump with a jump of 43 feet 8 1/2 inches. Mark Niemann won the javelin with a throw of more than 177 feet.
The women were led by Ann Tank making her outdoor season debut with taking second place in the 400 with a time of 57.31.
Tank and teammates Deidre Dillman, Carshella Porter and Jackie Cahill ran the 4×400-meter relay, posting the sixth fastest time in Division III this season.
The Pioneers host their lone home track meet this Saturday.
