The Pioneer baseball team spent spring break in Fayetteville, N.C. where they played five games. Platteville went 5-0 while outscoring opponents 81-31 and averaging just over 16 runs per game.

Sports Briefs: Track and Field all-American honors

Every UW-Platteville entrant earned all-American honors at the NCAA Division III track and field indoor national championships.
Sophomores Patrick Klein and Ann Tank earned individual honors. Klein finished fourth in the 1600-meter run with a time of 4:12.13. Tank finished eigth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:14.28.
