UW-Platteville H1N1 vaccination clinic tentatively scheduled
By Exponent Brief • October 29, 2009 • Category: NewsAccording to a press release from Barb Daus, special assistant to the chancellor, H1N1 vaccinations are expected to arrive at UW-Platteville in early November, and a clinic for vaccinations is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 11.
According to the release, the amount of people reporting symptoms consistent with the flu and H1N1 has been increasing.
According to the Web site for the Centers for Disease Control, cdc.org, the first form of the vaccine contains a live version, and Student Health Services decided to wait until they could receive the injection form of the vaccine, which contains a deactivated virus, said Daus.
