Main Street mansion: An inside look at UW-Platteville’s chancellor house
By Randall Stricklin • October 8, 2009 • Category: News, Top StoryThe house offered to the chancellor of UW-Platteville on Main Street remains vacant while the Chancellor Search and Screen Committee and the UW System Board of Regents conduct their search for the next chancellor of UW-P.
The three-story house, which former Chancellor David Markee lived in during his as chancellor, is still furnished and will be offered to the next chancellor appointed by the UW System Board of Regents.
Rob Cramer, assistant chancellor for administrative services, said that the house is currently vacant and will be undergoing minor maintenance such as re-painting over the next couple of months.
Interim Chancellor Carol Sue Butts will not be residing in the house while the search is ongoing.
