UW-Platteville men’s soccer tops Ripon Hawks

Tyler Holle headed the ball in off a corner shot from Chris Brown in the 35th minute to bring UW-P ahead. The Pioneers continued to out-shoot the Red Hawks 25-4, keeping them at bay for game.
Mark Ciszewski dribbled up the middle to score a second goal for the Pioneers off an assist from B.J. Gottschlich in the 69th minute.
The loss drops Ripon to a 2-5-1 record.
UW-P continued their winning streak as they battled Grinnell College on Sunday, Sept. 27.
B.J. Gottschlich gave the Pioneers a 1-0 lead against the Grinnell Pioneers, off an assist by Mario Millonzi only 13 minutes into the game.
UW-P continued to lay the ball on Grinnell with 11 shots on goal. Mitch Cornelius sent another ball to the back of the net in the 38th minute.
Keeper Kris Bosshart had his second shut out after the win against Grinnell. The Pioneers improved to a 5-4-1 overall record. Grinnell dropped to a 4-5 record.
