Two more administrators have said that they are not interested in the chancellor position on campus: David Van Buren and Rob Cramer.

Van Buren, assistant vice chancellor and dean of graduate studies, said he was not interested in the position because he plans on retiring soon and does not want to take on that responsibility for that short of a time.

Cramer, assistant chancellor for administrative services, also said he is not interested. He also said he lacks the credentials.

Van Buren said the next chancellor may not come from UW-Platteville

“We have always been well served by external candidates,” Van Buren said.

Van Buren and Cramer join Assistant Chancellor for Student Affairs Michael Viney as administrators who have said the would not be interested in the chancellor position.
