Now I am angry. Less than a week ago I received an automated message on my answering machine from the Republican Party telling me that I should not vote for Barack Obama because he associates himself with terrorists. I know that Sen. John McCain is an honorable man who has served this nation both in time of war and peace and deserves our respect and thanks, instead we have his own party disrespecting him by resorting to character assassination rather than promoting his ideas and plans for this nation. What the Republican Party is doing is shameful and disgusting, how dare they tarnish the reputation of McCain this way. I am voting for Obama this election because his views and policies represent more of my own, however I will stand up to anyone who attempts to degrade or undermine the character of McCain.
